Last Friday I was in a meeting with Anne, a Blue Badge Tour Guide from of www.tourandexplore.com who specialise in guided tours of the Cotswolds. We were running through some of the details involved in linking your blog, Twitter account and web site together.

Anne had been to an evening seminar on Social Media for Small Business, where I had spoken about the benefits of small business’ using social media to market themselves effectively online. The starting point for small business’ is a Twitter account, a blog and obviously a web site. Ideally your visitors will “cascade” from Twitter to your blog and then to your web site.

The missing link we covered with Anne was to simply link all the activities together and therefore enabling the cascade to start to operate. Now Anne is able to connect her Tweets with her new blog and the blog leads to the web site.

If  you are a small business and want to know more about marketing your business cost effectively contact robert(at)tiger-fish.com or come to the GlosB2BShow on 20th July where we will be running two seminars – www.b2bshow.co.uk
